after surgery. Medical massage releases tight, fatigued and sore
muscles and
joints, so they are easier to manipulate, position and strengthen. This
service
is most often doctor prescribed and authorized for insurance
reimbursement for
medical necessity. Please

insurance benefits for the massage therapy code 97124. Consultation, billing, delayed payments,
daily charting, progress notes, reports to insurance and referring
providers
are a part of this protocol. Ice,
heat,
stretching and other hydrotherapies often included at no extra charge. Many techniques will be

and may
include neuromscular, myofascial, pin and stretch, trigger and pressure
